CEO, Fubon Art Foundation, Taiwan

Maggie Tsai is CEO of the Fubon Art Foundation in Taipei, Taiwan. The Foundation was founded in 1997 under the motto "Art in Life, Life in Art". As such, the Foundation strives to liberate the visual and performing arts from the confines of museums, galleries, concert halls and theatres, and to take them directly to the public realm, from the streets to the workplace. The Foundation's primary focus is to introduce new topics and awareness of art through lectures, an ongoing exhibition program known as Art Buffet: Art in the Public Realm; educational programs; website development; and promotional activities. The Foundation has received numerous awards in recognition of its contributions and presently contributes a column monthly for Economic Daily News. Tsai is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles where she received a degree in Electrical Engineering.
