Dr. Eric Li is the senior Partner of Li Tang Chen & Co., a past president of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a former global Council member of the International Federation of Accountants. He served as a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong for thirteen years from 1991 to 2004, and was elected Chairman of its Public Accounts Committee from 1995 onwards. Dr. Li is an appointed member of the Commission on Strategic Development of Hong Kong and holds numerous government appointments including the Chairman of the Hong Kong Sports Institute and formerly the Chairman of the Commission on Youth. He also had extensive involvement in the non-government and education sector and was formerly Chairman of the Hong Kong Council of Social Services.
