Prof. Mitsuko Okamoto is a professor of the Department of Animation, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. She produced a number of TV programmes and large-scale projects during her years with NHK. As a chief producer of NHK's popular BS2 program Digital Stadium, which introduces the works of digital art, she was engaged in the discovery and cultivation of creative young talents. She was the Executive Producer of Digital Art Festival Tokyo art exhibition for three consecutive years. As a former judge of the Tokyo International Anime Fair and the Japanese preliminary round for the Imagine Cup, she acted as a general producer for art and animation-related events including the 'Digital Art Festival Tokyo' and 'Yokohama EIZONE'.
